TAKOHACHI team members are passionate about promoting Japanese culture in our communities, and are multi-talented individuals. As a matter of fact, some of us are active members of Portland Shishimai Kai, led by Eien Hunter-Ishikawa. This group is dedicated to performing and teaching the traditional celebratory lion dance of Tokyo, known as the Edo Kotobuki Jishi.

This event is free with admission to the Portland Japanese Garden.
